Our ballet classes are based on the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) Syllabus. The R.A.D. offers an internationally recognised portfolio of examinations and presentation classes which are designed to motivate and encourage students of all ages and levels of ability, through systematic measurement of progress and attainment.

The Royal Academy of Dance was founded in 1920 to set standards for dance teaching within the UK. Today there are over 14,000 teaching members’ and 250,000 students spread across 84 countries. The Royal Academy of Dance’s patron is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

2024 Class Fees

30 min lessons are $12 per lesson (pay per week).

45 mins lessons are $15 per lesson (pay per week)

1 hr lessons are $18 per lesson (pay per week)

What to wear

For our classical ballet classes students are required to wear a leotard, tights and ballet shoes – as a minimum.

Leotards Colours:

3 - 5 years: Preschool classes wear Light Pink leotards.

6 years & above: Dark Purple (Available from Studio 7 Online - https://www.studio7dancewear.com/catalogue/product/wide-strap-leotard/ or from Geelong Dance Supplies in 67/69 Little Malop St, Geelong)

Optional extras include wrap skirt, crossovers, leg warmers (in matching colour to leotard).

Boys wear a white leotard, black shorts or leggings and black ballet shoes with white socks.

All Ballet classes do not require upfront payment to enrol, simply leave the payment section blank at checkout and click continue through the purchase section and click “purchase” to confirm your enrolment.
